Welcome to our online library! As Baptists, we are advocates of the absolute right to the freedom of religion and this library is one resource among many for disciples who seek ever more intimate communion with Christ and within the household of faith, and who seek to engage the world in loving witness as ambassadors of God's Kingdom (Heb. 3: 1-6; John 17:20-26; Col. 1:23,13).
While we as a group or as individuals may believe and cherish certain doctrines, we first and foremost believe that the Love of Our Lord Jesus Christ is the greatest gift of God the Father and His Holy Spirit, and should be the primary message of Christians, taking precedence over all differences, whether they be theological, denominational, ideological, or physical in nature. We believe in essentials, Unity; in non-essentials, Liberty; in all things, Love.
Therefore, we adhere to the historic Baptist distinctive of "liberty of conscience" in matters of interpretation and worship and many of the articles on this web site reflect that freedom in presenting the thoughts and ideas of the individual composers of these articles. Some of the articles are from publications that are no longer in print. They come from a variety of sources, including speeches, articles, tracts, and other presentations, and they have been composed over a period of time. Consequently, on our website you will find many thought provoking and sometimes controversial articles which may present different viewpoints on various doctrines, etc.
Please keep in mind that the inclusion of an article on this site does not necessarily reflect the beliefs of the General Association of Six-Principle Baptists. Neither does a writer's inclusion on this site imply his agreement with all of the other articles. Each writer is responsible only for his own stated views.
